Honestly, by the skin of my teeth. Balancing both isn’t easy. Time management is KEY. I’m lucky enough that my job is kind of fluid and that my program set our classes at 6PM, so I go to class after work.

It is shameful to the first born (and of course then to the parents) if younger siblings marry first.
Why??
Honestly, I don’t think there is any rhyme or reason to it except that’s how Nigerians think it should be. At least that’s how my family put it to me. As the eldest, especially if you’re female, you are used to measure the family’s success. You could be well educated, making tons of money, but all of this is void if you don’t have kids and most importantly a husband. It’s ass backwards but most every social concept in Nigerian culture is🤷🏾♀️
